James T. Slavin Conservation Area Day Trip

  • At Home Parking Lot 201 West Neider Avenue Coeur d'Alene, ID, 83815 United States (map)

Join us for a day trip to this Washington bird mecca, which is filled with wildflowers and gorgeous terrain. An absolute delight for hiking and birding. Bring a bag lunch.

Target Birds: waterfowl; migrants

Leader: Lisa Clark

Meet at the At Home Store Parking Lot to coordinate carpooling and caravanning. We will sit and have lunch together above the wetlands.

Access Considerations: Walking on fairly level ground; beautiful open terrain with a lot of action at a distance, so please bring your scopes and binoculars. We will hike about 4 miles round trip out to the end of the trail and back.

Please email us at rsvp@cdaaudubon.org to register and receive event updates.

The date on this field trip has been changed to accommodate Earth Day events. Please note that dates/times subject to change-always check the website for the latest information before attending an event and use our rsvp feature so we can update you on club activity.
