Bird City Idaho: A Vision for Avian-Friendly Communities

Join us in-person for a virtual presentation with Joanna Eckles, Bird City Network Coordinator.

Imagine a future where your city is celebrated not just for its beauty, but for how bird-friendly it is. This September, we invite you to dream big for our birds, and our community.

We’re pleased to welcome Joanna Eckles, Coordinator for the Bird City Network, for a special virtual presentation introducing the vision and framework behind Bird City Idaho. You’ll learn how this community-driven program helps towns and cities across the country take meaningful, on-the-ground conservation action that benefits both birds and people.

This presentation will introduce the four pillars of Bird City recognition and share success stories from across the continent. It will give our membership an opportunity to learn how our chapter could lead the charge in bringing Bird City to North Idaho.

Open to all—birders, neighbors, nature lovers, and civic leaders welcome!
