We traveled to the James T. Slavin Conservation Area several weeks ago; the landscape stunned us with gorgeous wildflowers and many species of birds. We are hoping for babies this time around. Prepare for a moderate slow-paced three mile walk with some hills; the water table is high at Slavin—we will be walking on a dirt trail that can be muddy if it has rained.
Meet at the At Home parking lot where carpools can be voluntarily arranged at your discretion. Bring lunch, water and a pair of binoculars if you have them. Dress for the weather.
