Join us for the Mica Bay Survey. Mica Bay is located 7 miles south of Coeur d’Alene and during this event, we count the bird species and their numbers. Our club’s consistent monitoring of this site continues to provide valuable information to Idaho Fish and Game.

We will gather together in the parking lot located on Fairmont Loop off Hwy 95 to arrange carpools. This parking lot faces Hwy 95 and is the first right after you cross the Blackwell Bridge heading south.

This is a recurring event on the second Tuesday of every month.

Access Considerations: We will drive slowly along Mica Creek, stopping frequently and mostly observing. We will be in and out of vehicles, with less than one mile walking total on flat terrain. If you are a car birder, this is a great event for you to try.
