Volunteer

Since Coeur d’Alene Audubon’s inception in 1990, our volunteers have generously given thousands of hours to the chapter in many forms, including taking leadership roles, spearheading conservation efforts, teaching classes and leading field trips. As a 100% volunteer-led organization, we are extremely grateful to our volunteers who every day demonstrate what can be accomplished with volunteerism.

  • To get involved with our nonprofit, consider submitting an article to our newsletter review committee. Share your insights and passion for bird conservation with our community. Your contribution can inspire others and help raise awareness about the importance of protecting avian species and their habitats.

  • Planning a field trip for Coeur d’Alene Audubon can provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, educate others about local bird species, and foster a sense of community among fellow bird enthusiasts. Our field trips contribute to our conservation efforts and foster a deeper appreciation for the beauty of birds and their habitats.

  • Volunteering for a leadership position with Coeur d'Alene Audubon provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on avian conservation efforts and contribute to the local community's environmental education and outreach initiatives.

  • Volunteering on our conservation projects provides a hands-on opportunity to make a positive impact on local wildlife and habitats while connecting with a community of like-minded individuals passionate about environmental stewardship.

  • Participating in bird surveys allows individuals to contribute valuable data for conservation efforts and scientific research, helping to protect bird populations and their habitats for future generations.

  • We invite educators to showcase their expertise and engage with our membership by presenting on subjects related to birds, conservation, and the environment. Join us in fostering a community dedicated to learning and appreciation of avian wonders. Contact us today to learn more.
